JEAN PAUL GAULTIER JUMPER

Jean Paul Gaultier from the Maille (Knit) Mainline collection, ribbed black, long sleeved, wool pullover, with multi layered and padded neck. This garment from 1990 is pre-adored and in good condition, however there is some repaired damage, which is not noticeable. Worn three to four times in over 30 years (one show and two events)and kept in our own archive collection. The body and sleeves are stretch, ribbed knitted wool. The cuffs are amazing made up from 5 layers of attached rolled wool with a padded multi-coloured section above the first (yellow) rolled wool layer. There are also 4 layers of semi-round metal studs all attached with reinforcing inside. The neck is raised and also constructed from 4 layers of rolled wool and a central, patterned, padded section, with metal stud detail. Although it has sustained a little damage over the years, the repairs are difficult to see and it is very wearable. The colours on the cuffs are yellow, claret, grey, green, green, orange, tan and blue marl. The neck is navy blue, green, claret, yellow, blue, white, faded lilac and blue marl. Made in Italy in the Fuzzi factory for Gaultier. No labels I am afraid.
