ALEXANDER MCQUEEN KNITTED DRESS WITH ROSE EMBROIDERY

Alexander McQueen Black knitted, wool dress from one of the mid to late 1990's collections, (sorry we can't remember exactly which one, but is after 1995 as it is made in Italy, when Bocci took over the production of McQueen's collections). The dress is in knitted wool with a raised neck, long sleeves with elongated cuffs, the sleeves are gathered where they join the cuffs. There is a ribbed hem. The dress has a gorgeous stretch and is immensely sexy. The front has wonderful heavy and detailed embroidery down the front of red/pink roses with foliage, this extends down to just above the hem, this design was used on a few different garments in various forms. This is a stunning dress and a rare opportunity to own an early McQueen piece. The size is M so size 10, but would fit a small 12 easily as it has a lovely stretch. There are no external labels, long gone I am afraid, lost when the dress was selected for a TV fashion program. It is in perfect condition and has been under wraps in our archive ever since.
