About Corniche Designer Clothing

The Corniche Designer Clothes Store operates both as an online store and from it's premises at 2, Jeffrey Street, Edinburgh, EH1 1DT where it was established in 1975, the online shop was established in 2005. We welcome all visitors to the shop and to our website. A UK Designer Clothes Store of the Year and the only shop in Scotland to have been awarded this distinction. We welcome visitors from all around the world - Please feel free to visit The Corniche Designer Clothes Store if you are visiting Edinburgh. Opening Times are Monday to Saturday 11am to 4pm, we are able to open outside of these hours by special request. Always feel free to contact Nina, Liz or Ian who are very happy to answer any enquires. Clothing is for both women and men.

Back in the early 1970s Nina began by designing and making her own line of clothes and was reknowned for her leather trousers, customer still come into the shop now and ask if she still makes them as they would love another pair. Over time she started stocking really special clothing from various designers especially Japanese designers having a direct line into Tokyo for garments from the collections of Kansai Yamamoto, Tojo, Michiko Koshino, Yohji Yamamoto and Issey Miyaki. From there the list of designers stocked by Corniche reads like a directory of cutting-edge fashion that included: Vivienne Westwood, Katherine Hamnett, Betty Jackson, Moschino, Bill Gibb, Ghost, Christian Lacroix, Ally Cappellino, Copperwheat Blundell, Rifat Ozbek, Giannelli, Alexander McQueen, D&G, John Flett, BodyMap, Willy Smith, Claude Montana, Jean Paul Gaultier, Comme des Garcons, Nigel Cabourn, Rundholz, Girbaud and High, to name just some.

We believe in finding new, up and coming designers to compliment our more established designers and are always on the look out for new talent.
