Ziggy Chen Collection for Men

After studying fashion in the 1990s Chinese designer Ziggy Chen went on to become a university lecturer on textile design, then moving on to work in the corporate fashion industry. At the age of 40, after 20 years in the fashion world, he allowed himself to created his inspired and luxury label, emphasising and expressing the collisions between eastern and western cultures and highlighting Chinese tailoring and Western fashion silhouettes and with the wearers comfort being vital. Born in Shanghai, his inspirations range from Chinese dynastic cultures, the vibrance of Shanghai, architecture, history, photography, painting, 80’s film and music.

‘Rather than creating clothes that make you feel like someone else – for example, when you wear something and you immediately feel like you’re a different person – I want the clothes to feel like a part of you.’
