Chiahung Su

Taiwan based Chiahung Su brings true art into clothing. With a foundation of Japanese aestheticism, Wabi-Sabi and Mono-No-Aware, Chiahung Su's, mainly genderless, garments are inspired by the beauty of impermanence and imperfection and seek to honour a unique melding of Japanese and Taiwanese indigenous cultures, working with vintage and ancestral fabrics from both traditions, creating future heirlooms.

The fabrics are spectacular, beautiful organic linens and cottons, fused with vintage dye tie, embroidered and hand decorated textiles. Often hand-woven and overdyed they radiate a aesthetic rarely seen.
